1. Q: Why is your product called "The Burn Machine"?

A: All human physical motion is asymmetrical -- endeavors are performed with some muscle groups working independently of others that are at rest or in a support mode. Therefore we should exercise asymmetrically, mimicking all physical endeavors.

After exercising properly with one of the six different Burn Machine® models, you should notice that the muscle groups you are working will reach the desired exertion level; the sensation that some body builders refer to as “the burn."

2. Q: How does The Burn Machine work?

A: Four of the six Burn Machine models (Cross Trainer Burn Machine(s); Universal Burn Machine; Ultimate Burn Machine) have a center bar with our patented sliding Asymmetrical Burn Counterweight that can be positioned either to the right, left, or center of the center bar. This changes your body’s center of gravity and places it in an asymmetrical position simultaneously engaging the use of core muscles the entire length of your workout.

3. Q: How many exercise can you do with The Burn Machine?

A: The exercises that may be performed are limited only to your imagination. The design of the units make it possible to do a total body workout including movements such as bicep curls, tricep extensions, variations of rowing exercises, lunges, squats and much, much more. The Cross Trainer, Universal and Ultimate models unique patented Asymmetrical Burn Counterweight makes it possible to engage your core while performing other exercises, hence "killing two birds with one stone!"

4. Q: What are the differences among the six models?

A: Each of the six Burn Machines are sleekly designed and constructed from the high-quality materials. Additionally, each has 360-degree rotational handgrips that are ergonomically designed to accommodate your wrists, hands, and fingers without placing undo strain on them. All models are portable and come with carrying case that easily hangs from your shoulder.

  • The Speed Bag is our smallest model and is extremely portable. It was designed for high repetitious exercises as well as aerobic activity. This unit promotes joint flexibility and mobility, strengthens ligaments and tendons, and is used for muscular endurance training. It may also be used as an additional tool for physical rehabilitation and can easily accommodate those in wheelchairs. With two models to choose from, Intermediate Speed Bag model #006 weighing in at 8lbs and the  Speed Bag Pro model #005 weighing in at 12lbs, you can select the perfect size for your goals and level of fitness .
  • The Cross Trainer  has an asymmetrical counter weight system and is available in two models: the Intermediate Cross Trainer model #004 weighing 12lbs and the Cross Trainer Pro model #003 weighing 20lbs. This barbell system is designed to engage your core while performing various exercises by simply sliding the counterweight to one side. Not only will this increase the weight load on the side containing the counterweight working that muscle grouping more, simultaneously the opposing abdominals and back muscles immediately engage hence working your core. The rotating handles allow for easy transitions from one exercise to the next without ever setting the unit down. These units are not plate loaded. Official Burn Machine Stand® included.
  • The Universal Burn Machine is our plate loaded version of the Cross Trainer units with all same functionality and versatility but with the ability to add resistance. The center bar extends beyond the length of the Cross Trainer and weighs in at 24lbs as is without weights. You may add your own weights or purchase our patented low-profile crescent weights for added resistance training. This unit holds up to 200lbs. Official Burn Machine Stand® included.
  • The Ultimate Burn Machine model #008 is our fully loaded barbell system weighing in at 48lbs. Simply stated, it is the Universal Burn Machine with an additional 24lbs of our low- profile crescent patented weights. This unit has the same versatility and functionality as the cross trainer and universal models. You receive six 4lb crescent weights which allow you to do sets with just the bar at 24 lbs and up to 48lbs crescent plate loaded. Again, you may add your own personal round weights for additional resistance up to 200lbs. Official Burn Machine® Stand included.

5. Q: What are the benefits of using The Burn Machine?

A: Simply put: you should earn greater results for less effort. In our case more burn with fewer repetitions, thus a shorter workout with greater caloric loss. Stress on the body's muscles should make them stay stronger. If you don't use them, they tend to atrophy. Stress means exertion, and exertion means caloric loss.

Plus, you'll develop more muscle and tendon strength. Each model was ergonomically designed to accommodate the user's hands and wrists.

6. Q: Tell me why The Burn Machine models have such designs.

A: Each of the six Burn Machine models are shorter than a normal barbell and feature a flatter profile. They were designed to always be within arm's reach,  not hidden in basements, garages, closets, or under beds.

Some owners consider their Burn Machine functional art that they proudly display in their office or home so it's readily accessible for a quick workout between business meetings, during calls, or while watching television.

Additionally, the Speed Bag and Cross Trainer Burn Machines are highly portable, enabling these models to be easily carried in gym bags, briefcases, duffle bags, or one of the heavy-duty nylon Burn Machine carrying cases.

7. Q: How strong can I really get by using The Burn Machine?

A: As you exercise in the asymmetric mode, your abdominal muscles and oblique muscles are always under tension, working to retain your body's center of gravity. You should develop powerful abdominal muscles without ever straining your back or spine.

8. Q: Will The Burn Machine work my abdominal muscles?

A: Absolutely! Exercising in the asymmetrical position, your leg muscles engage to maintain your body's center of gravity. Working out with a Burn Machine is just like hiking up a steep mountain incline with all muscles working asymmetrically with each step.

9. Q: Why are the Burn Machine System's weights designed in a crescent shape?

A: The crescent weights prevent rotation and retain a closer center of gravity. Their shape also enables the Burn Machine to retain a flat profile for easy storage.

10. Q: Okay, so a Burn Machine will work my abs and obliques. What about my lower body, like my quads?

A: Absolutely! Exercising in the asymmetrical position, your leg muscles engage to maintain your body's center of gravity. Working out with a Burn Machine is just like hiking up a steep mountain incline with all muscles working asymmetrically with each step.

11. Q: How does The Burn Machine system help people who are in rehabilitation?

A: First, check with your physician. One of the best ways to heal the body is to exercise it in an asymmetrical mode. With the sliding counter weight on our Burn Machine, people in physical rehabilitation can work various damaged muscle groups independently with the support of both hands.
